Woman Empowerment in India

"All of us, as responsible citizens, have a special obligation to contribute to the social and economic empowerment of women," the Prime Minister said.

The meaning of Woman Empowerment in India is as follows:

·         It means to encourage women to have patience to bear the cruelities of society.

·         It means to take balanced diet to enable oneself to perform dual function of housewife and working woman in perfect way.

·         In case of social injustice such as eve teasing or rape a woman should be empowered to bear the indifference of society.

·         In case of any kind of physical or mental weakness she should be empowered to let others decide things for her.

·         It means to encourage woman to carry on her marriage throughout life although she is happy with it or not.

·         A woman should be mentally empowered to be slave of men in society.
